Find A Part-Time Job Today!

Do you need to find a part-time job today? Well you have come to the right place.  When you leave here you will be armed with a wealth of knowledge and some of my past personal experiences that will make your job search a fruitful one.

Are you looking for a retail job or a fast food restaurant job?  Perhaps you are just looking to make some money for a seasonal period like the Summer or the holidays.  If that is the case, no worries, there is something for you too.  Search for a retail job today!

Some of the places that teenagers frequent as they look for work at are the fast food places.  The main reason is that they find part-time jobs quickly.  Take for instance the McDonalds job or the Burger King job.  Both of these jobs are the centerpiece of the teenagers search for quick Summer time employment.  Do only thing is that with this recession, teenagers are not the only ones looking for part-time work at these establishments.  Yes, the competition will get stiff, but there are plenty of jobs to go around, and the country is showing signs of coming out of this recession slowly but surely.

Finding a job takes some know how, sure the innocence of a teenager applying for a job for the first time is a very nice notion, but why would you not want to go into that interview or application process armed with knowledge.  My intentions are to help you do just that.  One thing that I cannot over emphasize, is that you need to get yourself at least two (2) letters of reference for your application process.  This will put you over the top!  Most of the teenagers and even adults do not even bother to get them, but they do add a nice kick to the application package.  These letters can come via teachers, past employers, even some friends.  Most employers will respect the fact that the prospective employee took the time to add some positive information to his/her application.  In the end it makes the decision easier for the employer.  Below find listed some of the possible applications that be easy for teenagers to apply to.  Take your time filling out the application, make it nice and neat and go and find a part-time job!

Find a CVS Part-Time Job Today!

Do you need to find a part-time job today? Well how about one of the leading pharmacies, like CVS? If you answered “Yes”, then you are not alone, join the hundreds of thousands of people ranging from teenagers to the elderly, that seek employment in this tough economic situation that has unfolded for us here in the United States.

Most of them will take anything that they can get, but the more popular job amongst the teenagers is the CVS part-time job. The elderly will take them too, as they try to bridge the gap between the social security check and their bills.

Teenagers need to juggle work and school for the most part, and even though the Summer is almost ended, some of the teens hope to keep the CVS part-time job beyond the Summer. Especially after they get to experience the independence that money provides them with. Not to mention the economical lift that the parents receive, even if the relief is only seasonal or temporary.  As parents we will take it. Yes? I know I will.

As a parent however, I do not want my teen to become dependent on a CVS part-time seasonal job, or any job, and abandon his/her school or his/her studies, but I would like my teen to find a part-time job for the Summer for the added expenses of a teen. I know those I-pods and Itune cards are pretty expensive, and her cell phone bill, wow!

Now, I do not expect my child to pay for room and board, no I would never do that, but some clothing issues, sneakers, shoes, and gas for the car, no argument from me here. Besides my teen can use some other teachings in being more responsible, and teamwork, and how to excel in the work place.

I know I can speak for many parents on that issue. Plus attempting to find a part-time job can be very challenging and in a good way. Disappointment prepares character, and builds humility and humbleness, traits that any teen can tighten up on, I include mine.

Here are a list of employment places that are struggling, and even though I would put in an application everywhere and any where you may want to avoid these struggling companies. Mostly because they are shutting down so many of their stores. Ann Taylor, 60 stores. Walden Books, 182 stores. Jones apparel, unknown number of stores. Blockbuster will likely close over 500 under performing stores. The Foot Locker chain, 106 under productive stores.

However there are many companies where you can find a part-time job in like Walmart, Target, CVS and many of the fast food restaurants like McDonalds and Burger King, that stand to flourish during the Summer break and beyond. Like my own teen, I wish all the teens and adults out there seeking employment in this tough economic state, the best of luck.
